We need a refresh after (waves hands around) and I know you’re eyeing your closet and getting the spring cleaning itch (or avoiding the spring cleaning itch) too.

Let’s do the planet and ourselves some good and swap what doesn’t fit us anymore, whether physically, mentally, spiritually, or vibe-ally (shhhh, it’s a word.)

More details to come but Bini (of Josephine’s Dry Goods) and I (Becky Jo) have come up with:

  1. 1pm-5pm 2/19/2023
  2. All genders, ages, orientations, sizes and abilities welcome.
  3. Me-mades or very small batch (think elizsuzann or smaller) ONLY
  4. Clean and in good repair (“good” like according to Patagonia’s WornWear store)
  5. All sewing levels allowed (no snobbery or Judgy McJudgersons)
  6. Drop off DEADLINE will be NOON on 2/18 (locations to be announced to ticket holders only)
  7. Printable PDF tags will be provided. You are to safety-pin to left shoulder of each garment with size/pattern/fiber content (if you remember)/notes
  8. No limits both ways
  9. Moderate entry fee to cover Becky & Bini’s expenses
  10. Beverages and Snacks provided
  11. Limited Tickets

Any remaining items after the swap will be donated to Rose Haven in care of our own beloved Frocktails helper, volunteer, friend, and fashion/sewing/upcycling maven Mary.

READ:

Obviously we’ll have to adjust the photo opps this year. NO PERSONAL PHOTOS unless you get express permission from everyone in the photo. You may have gone to “Naked Lady Parties” in the before times, but if not, these things are expected to get a bit….bare. Wear leggings/bike shorts & a tank…but trying on clothes mid “shopping” is expected. NO PHOTOS ALLOWED. We will probably figure out a Pro-Photo booth like years past so, if you’re in front of PRO camera, permission is implied. Other than that, behave accordingly. <3

can’t wait to see you all!!
